Cogent have successfully acquired a 40,000 sq ft warehouse with a large secure yard in Slough on behalf of RFS who were looking to relocate from a smaller unit in Iver. RFS specialise in the transportation of freight and air cargo across Europe to support the global food supply chain and includes perishable products such as pharmaceutical goods together with flowers, fruit and vegetables which require advanced temperature-controlled storage. SEGRO were happy to welcome their new tenant to the Slough Trading Estate which is Europe’s largest privately-owned business park under single ownership, and the transaction represented the largest industrial single letting on the Estate this year.
